Natash Foods

The first two in what we hope will be a series of baking kits, focused on European pastries.

For the pasteis de nata, Portuguese custard tarts, the style influence is azulejos: blue, white, and sometimes yellow tiles used to embellish buildings in Portugal. I created the ‘tile’ pattern with watercolors and also painted the nata illustration on the front, and the instructional illustrations on the back.
For the polvorones, Spanish cookies from Andalusia, the style influence is embroidered silk Flamenco shawls. I drew the pattern by hand and then rendered it in the computer. I painted the polvorones and illustrations on the back for continuity with the natas bag.

The clients had the logo already when they came to me, and I integrated it into the bag and used the gold color for the line of type at the top. This will be consistent across the series.
